Evolving Legal Risks, Roles and Responsibilities in Nonprofits

During the last two decades the NRMC team has observed the evolving role of legal professionals in the risk and ERM functions of both U.S. and international nonprofits. A recent report from Clyde & Co. includes the observation that “In today’s environment, the role of the GC has moved from reactive legal reviews to proactive strategic engagement.” This session explores the emerging challenges and opportunities that are shifting the focus of work led by in-house counsel.
