Paige Cantrell believes the best risk management programs are built long before an incident occurs. As the Associate Vice President of Risk Management and Safety for the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh, she works to strengthen safety culture, protect youth, and build resilient operations through proactive, people-centered strategies.
With a background in industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety management, and organizational risk leadership, Paige is passionate about helping leaders move beyond compliance and create environments where people can thrive. A certified Praesidium Guardian, she is a strong advocate for youth protection, aquatics safety, and practical risk solutions that support mission delivery.
Paige combines real-world experience, lessons learned, and actionable tools that participants can immediately apply in their own organizations.
Outside of work, Paige enjoys traveling with her husband, Bubba, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins. Together, they’ve visited 42 states and traveled as far as Shanghai, China, though Alaska remains her favorite destination to date.

Additional “safety snacks” will offer quick, actionable insights on topics such as OSHA, child abuse prevention, and insurance considerations.
