Manuel Gomez is the Independent Sector’s Manager of Public Policy, where he works to grow and develop relations with members, allies, and stakeholders. Manuel served as Senior Policy Advisor in the Colombian Senate, Chief of Staff for the Presidency of the Colombian Congress, and Vice Consul of Colombia in Madrid. While in the United States, he has been a visiting researcher at the University of California – San Diego (UCSD). He also worked as the Economic Development and Advocacy Specialist at the North San Diego Business Chamber.
