Nonprofit Practice Leader, G2 Insurance, a Relation Company
Lauren has been brokering insurance for nonprofits for the past 15 years where she has worked at both national and boutique firms. She began her insurance career at Arthur J. Gallagher working on cultural institutions, higher education, religious organizations, and social service agencies. Lauren has been a speaker at the national YMCA conference and various educational webinars on nonprofit insurance. In 2020 and 2023, Lauren was awarded one of six Power Broker awards in the Nonprofit category by Risk & Insurance magazine.
At G2, Lauren manages a book of business that includes clients across the country in the cultural institution, animal welfare, social service, environmental, impact litigation and human rights verticals within the nonprofit sector. She also oversees the Nonprofit Practice at G2 which includes educating employees, professional partners, and resource building for the company’s clients.
Lauren earned her Master’s degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and BA in Music from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She is very involved in the Bay Area arts community, where she serves on two arts education boards and still dabbles in singing professionally, having sung the National Anthem for the San Francisco Giants and as a chorister with the San Francisco Symphony. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and senior rescue pup Odin.
