I am the General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer for Charities Aid Foundation America where I manage the enterprise risk management function while providing oversight of the organization’s legal function. Previously, as General Counsel at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), I revitalized and streamlined the organization’s legal operations while overseeing the legal department, collaborating with external counsel, and providing advice on major business transactions.

Previously, I worked in both the public and private sectors, including City Attorney for the City of Alexandria, VA, City Councilman, and Vice-Mayor for the City of Richmond, Virginia, and Partner at Seyfarth Shaw LLP and McGuireWoods LLP.
