Director of Risk and Compliance, Inspiritus
Christopher Decker is the Director of Risk and Compliance at Inspiritus, a Lutheran nonprofit delivering refugee and immigrant services, foster care, disability services, disaster relief, and community empowerment programming across Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama.
He brings 25 years of international experience managing compliance and risk in complex, high-stakes environments, including six years as Joint Project Manager of a $47 million UN joint program in Palestine, and senior roles with UNDP and the OSCE in Nepal and Kosovo. Earlier in his career he served as a legal adviser to the Romanian government on national minority legislation during EU accession and provided legal counsel to the Turkish Cypriot community during the Annan Plan negotiations in Cyprus.
Mr. Decker holds a J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law, an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex, and a B.A. from Purdue University.
