LEESBURG, Virginia—The Nonprofit Risk Management Center team is proud to announce that GuideOne Insurance has signed on as a mission partner and Corporate Sustainer.

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome GuideOne Insurance, a company with a long history and commitment to social responsibility, as a brand new Corporate Sustainer of the Nonprofit Risk Management Center,” noted Melanie Herman, long-time NRMC Executive Director. GuideOne’s support underwrites the educational services of NRMC, as well as the delivery of the 2017 Risk Summit—a learning and networking event for nonprofit leaders and risk professionals—scheduled for September 17-19 in Philadelphia.

Founded in 1947, GuideOne serves more than 51,000 commercial policyholders, and operates in all 50 states. GuideOne’s portfolio of insurance products are available to charitable organizations, social services agencies, educational organizations and churches. Headquartered in West Des Moines, IA, GuideOne is well known for providing safety and risk resources and information, aspects of the company that align with NRMC’s mission of inspiring effective risk management practices and Risk Champions across the nonprofit sector.

Eric Spacek, Director of Risk Management and Loss Control at GuideOne explains that, “Our participation as a Corporate Sustainer of NRMC conveys our strong commitment to deepening risk management expertise in the nonprofit sector. By supporting NRMC we’re able to extend the reach of our commitment to effective risk practice far beyond our 51,000 policyholder organizations.”

Jim Wanninger, Nonprofit & Education Market Segments Director at GuideOne, agreed that, “We are excited that our participation as a Corporate Sustainer will connect our staff and policyholders to the mission of NRMC. GuideOne aims to reward organizations focused on social responsibility, and we can uplift that value internally by partnering with NRMC to support the nonprofit sector.”

Herman added that, “This Summer we are developing several new resources for nonprofit sector leaders, as well as preparing for the upcoming Risk Summit. It’s gratifying to count GuideOne as a partner in this important work.”
