The entity keeps a database that tracks the results of the accident investigation and near miss reports.
The entity tracks safety results by department and assigns safety costs by department. Supervisors are held accountable for their department’s results and numbers.
Department results are documented as part of the supervisor’s performance evaluation.
E-mail messages containing “Safety Tip of the Day/Week” are sent to staff and volunteers.
