Melanie was recognized for consistent leadership and standing in the nonprofit sector and “the impact...now and for the innovative plans” she is putting in place. According to the publication, “In this 10th annual NPT Power & Influence Top 50, we celebrate some of the sector’s top executives and thinkers.” An article about the recognition program, now in its 10th year, is featured at: www.nptimes.com.
NRMC Board Chairman Michael Downs said, “On behalf of the staff and board, I congratulate Melanie for this distinguished award that recognizes eleven years of exemplary service to the nearly 20,000 nonprofits we serve.”
Melanie credits the work of the entire staff and board for the award, saying, “It is my name on the list but the credit really belongs to the entire organization, especially our talented staff and dedicated board. We do great work at the Center and I am tremendously pleased that our work is being recognized by this award.”
